Abdelaziz Belkhadem further pointed out that his government will submit the resignation to President Bouteflika this week, and he said the matter is related to the appointment by the People’s National Assembly commission of the new MPs and the Assembly’s meeting due to be held Thursday. During a press conference held in Algiers after a meeting with FLN 136 new MPs, Mr. Belkhadem mentioned that he is expecting his party to “take the majority of ministry portfolios”, and that there will be no room for surprise.
