Both Mr. Mauro Moretti, the General Manager of the Italian “Ferovie Dello Stato” group, and Mr. Hassan Saïdi the General Manger of the National agency for studying, supervising and investment in railways domain, have signed the contract by the attendance of the minister of transport Mr. Mohamed Meghlaoui. The Italian group clinched, Saturday night in Hilton hotel, the international tender that the transport ministry announced last February concerning the technical supervising of the huge railroad-developing project in Algeria. The government has provided an important budget to the concerned project, attracting, thus, the interest of the biggest international groups. Noting that the tender has been marked by the participation of the American giant group “Louis Berger” and the Dutch “De-Consult”. “Ferovie Dello Stato” group will be in charge of supervising technically the new railways projects in western, eastern, and high-plateau sides of the country. The Italian group would have also the duty to supervise the management of the administrations and the stations of the train, in addition to delivering training programs for Algerians workers and executives inside the country and in Italy, as well as undertaking deep discussions between the Algerian workers and their counterparts from the Italian group. | ||||||||||||||||||
