Some Arab investors and producers pleaded for lifting customs burdens that still enable Arab merchandize exchanging moving.




The Arab investors participating in Algiers International Fair considered that the existing discrimination should be overcame through a minimum free exchange conventions undergoing the fact that the Arabs’ investments in Algeria have exceeded the ceil of 15 milliards dollar along the few last years.

Investors who are looking forwards to materialize partnership projects in Algeria, added that Arabic countries productions face marketing problems in Algeria, regardless provenance problem that Algeria has often set, explaining that Arabic merchandizes while exported to Algeria are bended to customs burdens which turns them into high prices merchandizes and non-competitive comparing to Europeans ones which are exempted from customs fees and taxes.

Eight Arabic countries exhibited divert trades in Algiers International Fair, Tunisia has been distinguished as highest number of participation with 68 companies, whereas Saudi Arabia participated with 31 companies and institution, Jordan with 18 participants, Oman with two companies and one institution, Palestine with 20 company, 32 companies from Egypt and 35 from Libya.
